Fineturret was established as a Private Limited Company in 1975.  The principle and managing director John Gillespie established the company.  John Gillespie has been employed in the tunnelling/civil engineering industry for over 35 years.

Initially specialising in secondary tunnel linings and caulking the company flourished.  Since 1985 the company has diversified and has developed an unrivalled reputation in the field of tunnelling and shaft sinking.  While retaining its reputation as a leading lining and caulking specialist.

The company has developed a management structure that is as innovative and diverse as the members of the management team.  The workforce is highly trained and motivated with a will to produce high quality craftsmanship at optimum speed.
